In 1998, Rachel Nasvik left the suburbs of Chicago to attend FIT. She did not realize it at the time, but New York would become her home and constant source of inspiration. After completing college, Rachel found herself headed in new directions... translating her background in fashion design to accommodate her passion for handbags. Rachel is greatly influenced by 1970's style, giving her bags a vintage, yet modern feel. She focuses on small details from clothing, which eventually surface as the foundation for a new collection. Using rich leathers and brass hardware, the handbags have a certain comfort and versatility. Each one is unique, and often invokes a feeling of coming across a great find at a thrift store. She currently lives with her family in Brooklyn, and always looks forward to the seasons changing.
